This past June 24th, 2022 Vanessa Ramirez celebrated her 40th birthday party and after breakdown, most of the florals were in great shape to be able to rearrange several mugs and mason jars to be delivered at 'The Gardens of Scottsdale, Retirement Community" located at 6001 E Thomas Rd, Scottsdale AZ.
If you are thinking you like to participate in giving back to our community, Künna by Karla will cover a 100% the labor and delivery costs while you donate your florals.

This past June 24th, 2022 Vanessa Ramirez celebrated with close friends and family her big 40th Birthday and invited us to join her at 'The Bees Knees". The super cool speakeasy vibe at The Camby certainly made it fun to create a few floral accents! My favorite creation was this accent lamp placed by the bar that besides creating lighting ambiance made a statement with a mix of pampas grass, roses and peonies.

I believe anyone who loves Christmas can share the same feeling of not getting to enjoy the Christmas tree as much as you would want because before you now it, it's "time" to break it down! Wouldn't you agree?
Well, have you heard about Harvest trees? Is a not so new way to get to enjoy and extend the Holiday cheer at home as early as you are ready to decorate it for fall. Yes! If you are wondering where to start please check out my work below so you can get inspired!
For this particular design, my client Desiree W. in Phoenix AZ. was looking for some help with her seasonal decor and she mentioned how much she loved fall's warm colors and how she couldn't wait for Christmas so, I suggested she give a Harvest Tree a try this season. Without a second thought she agreed!
Desiree was looking for something classic, warm and earthy and once we discussed the budget and color scheme I went out shopping. I found some great options for "ornaments" at our local Hobby Lobby and Michael's, Dry Nature / foliage accents at the Flower Market and some home decor items such as candles and accent pillows at Home Goods. While shopping I intentionally selected a few neutral items that could be of use during Christmas time such as the plaid ribbon, pinecones, and some clear drop branches to maximize their use during the holiday season.
Well, what did you think? If you are looking into give it a try yourself, my advise would be to mix up "real & faux" items so it helps the "faux" items look more real life like. Also remember less is more so, a fall pillow here and there is enough to set the tone. Lastly in my opinion, what helped make the look more high end, was the mix of the dry nature and final touch of faux feathered Birds / Quail residents.

About a year ago, I created a simple yet eye catching signage for Rockbar Inc. to help promote their Happy Hour. To my delight Rockbar Inc's patrons found the sign quite amusing and inviting since I titled it; "Adult Daycare Center". Although I didn't came up with the term (I wish I could take the credit!) in reality because of the proximity to Fashion Square Mall and all the other small shops in the Old Town Scottsdale area, it became a hang out spot for some husbands while their wives did the shopping. That being said, I was asked to create a new sign but to keep it somewhat the same since it was quite a success.
Because of the type of use of this particular blackboard (constantly being moved around and stored in tight spaces), in order to help create a Heavy Traffic signage I utilized different mediums; vynil, acrylic and touch of pastels to help create the best possible permanent sign that could withstand the Arizona weather and it's handling. There is so much to learn from Dogs, I can't really even think of them as pets since in reality the bond a Human and a Dog can develop is so strong they simply become family. I believe these beautiful leassons can serve others to help remind us how to live our life to The Max! (pun intended) since we tend to get lost in busy schedules, forgeting to enjoy the time we got with the ones we love while they are still with us.
For Max's 17th birthday, I decided to do a fun Superhero Party and invite all our friends and neighbors to join us at the usual spot. Max was Batman, Baxter was Robin, Ranger was Superman!
In Max's honor, all gifts were donated to our local dog rescue Love Pup Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization founded by Johnjay and Blake Van Es. I was very happy to see our Friends and neighbors generosity at it's best! We filled a couple of baskets with lots of toys, treats, dog food, medications and accesories.
When I look back at these moments, I feel grateful for being able to celebrate with the ones who are part of our daily life such a happy day and once again, make Max's birthday an excuse to Dig Life!
I am overfilled with joy to know that Max enjoyed all the love from friends and neighbors who joined us back in April, and more since only a few weeks later, on May 12th, 2021, Max waived his tail a last good bye at age 17.
Although it feels he had left us with a void in our lives, our hearts are filled with lots of great adventures and priceless memories. Alex and I feel blessed to have had the gift of being with him during his last breath and although his body lost this battle, the memory of his unconditional Love will live with us Forever.
Thank you all who at some point of his life either helped us take him for a walk, provided medical care, joined us for his Birthday Parties, gave him a nice pat on his back or offered him a treat, I am forever grateful for it... meanwhile I'll say: "Until we meet again Max..."

The 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization is run out the Arcadia home of #LoveUp Founders Johnjay and Blake Van Es, and they are currently in the process of inaugurating their official Rescue Shelter in Scottsdale.
I had the pleasure to meet them almost 2 weeks ago, while joining my husband for a Check Presentation on behalf of his business, Rockbar Inc and Eagles West Club for the amount of $7,140 dlls. Most recently, I stopped by again yesterday to say Hi and drop them a floral arrangement specially made for them and inspired by Pups to cheer them on!
As a Dog Lover myself, I am looking forward to help contribute to this amazing cause and volunteer which ever way they need it.

We had the pleasure to work with Corrina Ardizzone by assisting her with the partial planning and styling of a surprise 50th Birthday Party for her dear friend Marlee, this past Friday March 12th 2021. Although Corrina had already envisioned the Charcuterie boards she liked to do, she needed a bit of help putting it all together the day of, while also styling the space with candle lights, natural greenery and florals.
In order to help style the event, we discussed in detail what she Needed from us and Expectations. We assesed the space to make the most of it, looked into all decorative items and selected tableware she already owned so we could incorporate it all together and display it creatively.
Within a couple of days we were throwing this super special birthday party at Corrina's home. The kitchen island displayed several Charcuterie boards with a variety of cured meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and crackers. All enhanced by the smell of fresh cut Rosemary branches and Eucalyptus, touches of green amaranth, white chrysanthemums, white wax and chamomile flowers. All her guests complimented the Charcuterie board display and Marlee, without a doubt, felt very much Loved by her dear friend Corrina. In a few words, Mission accomplished!
Thank you once more Corrina Ardizzone for allowing us once more into your home and continue to support Künna by Karla.

This bouquet was designed for a good friend of mine on behalf of her husband as a Valentine's gift. Although at this point in our friendship I believe I know her likes and dislikes pretty good, it actually made it a little more tricky to Design since I wanted to make sure she would love it! She is a pink Lover so, after selecting a majority of pink shade flowers, I choose a couple of white ones to give it some depth and contrast.
The recipe inlcuded Rosaprima pink Roses, Stock, Tulips, Germini Pink black eye Gerberas, white Football Mums and fragant Freesias.
I would like to say Thank You Nicholas H. for trusting me with the task of creating a floral arrangement for Mrs. H, and hope I can continue helping you during any other ocassion.
