FAQ New customer


Any Project: Please let me know exactly what you are looking for so I can help you better, at the same time, set a budget so we can discuss how to allocate those funds in a way that you can get the most out of it. I know sometimes it's a struggle to find out exactly what we want so, in those instances at least have very clear what you DON'T want. If what you are looking to do it's completely out of the budget you are willing to spare, I am also a DIY Consultant and can help you through the creation process depending on the project. Just ask me! 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Self-Employed, Self-Educated individual. I collaborate with other talented and capable contractors to make sure your projects are done right.


How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love working with different projects that continuously challenge my Creativity and Skills. From a very young age, I was notoriously recognized by teachers and classmates for art & craft projects and a natural Eye for design which I continued to develop over the years. My curious nature, passion for different projects and subjects, and proactive interest in repurposing materials had made me become an even more creative individual. By doing this as a Business, I am able to share my skills, knowledge, and creativity with others by helping them with whatever Decor, Styling-Floral, Seasonal projects they are in need off plus and ultimately helping the environment one project at the time. 




FAQ Event Rentals 




Do you provide Rentals? 
I provide basic decor & catering rentals when hired for Styling and Event Services, but I do not rent the items alone. For larger events or more specific themes, color schemes, I collaborate with Preffered Vendors who service the client directly. 


What is the cost of Retail Shopping services? 
A flat fee of $50 dlls/per hr. is charged for any Decor, Styling, Seasonal & General Shopping Services. 




FAQ Seasonal Decor




How far out can I schedule Styling Consultation services for Seasonal Decor? 
Anytime between 8 to 12 weeks prior to service to ensure availability. 


Do you provide Seasonal Decor Rentals? No
Why? What helps make the service cost reasonable, is that there is no inventory, restocking, maintenance and/or storage fees. This translates into cost savings to you!


I need Decor Shopping services. When is the best time to schedule this service? 
As soon as you have a set mind of what Style and Theme you are going for. Usually stores will start bringing out their holiday decor, between the last week of September and first week of October. You will have more to choose from if you do an early shopping.


Do you provide Online Shopping service for Seasonal Decor & Holiday items?
In some cases and when I am unable to find items directly at retail stores or when looking for commercial grade products, I offer my clients with what they need at a wholesale price (christmas lights), plus a Shopping fee of 18% of the total balance. 


What do I need to do to book my Holiday/Seasonal Decor installation date? 
Give me a call and make a $75 non-refundable deposit to secure the time and date. 


I like to decorate the Christmas tree with my Family. Can you still decorate the rest of the house?
Of course! Künna By Karla understands that each client has different needs. You only pay for the specific service you want and need. 


When buying for seasonal decor, what do you look for to make the best possible purchase?
I compare all product aspects. Quality, materials, overall size and most importantly, the price. I believe cheap is expensive in the long run. I also know that not all the most expensive items are necessarily the best either. My rule of thumb for shopping is: I would not buy anything for you that I would not buy for myself! 


I love to save money when it comes to shopping. Do you offer post holiday decor shopping? 
Absolutely! Although after the holidays most items are picked over, this is when it is worth buying the expensive ornaments that are finally discounted. 


How can I decrease the overall cost of Holiday Decor & Styling Services?
There are several things you can do to get the most out the service you are selecting. 


For example: 

Be as thorough as you can with the Decor Styling Questionnaire we send to you prior to our initial meeting. 
Research and have some images ready to share of Decor ideas that you like. 
Think about where you would like to set up the decorations. 
If you don't need assistance with getting things out of storage, pre-sort it if possible, have extra lights and plenty of extension cords available. 
Make sure your Seasonal Decor is ready to go by the tree. 
If you have a prelit Christmas tree, fluff it and make sure all lights are working. 



FAQ Christmas Lighting Installation


Outdoor Residential Spaces: Please be aware I do not rent lights, I sell them so I can install them. They lights would be customized to the exact trim, trees, or landscape of your home. I wouldn't profit from the sale, but I facilitate them at a wholesale price so I can do the installation after adding a 18% shopping fee that will include taking the time to search, order, receive and deliver the product. 


What is the average cost of the C9 LED lights? 
Averages at $3 dlls per ft plus install labor no matter the color. In regards labor, just to give you a little bit of a price range, about 250 linear ft. (depending on your roof/ and if the gutter needs to be cleaned up before) it would be about $660 dlls for labor (install and removal/storage organization) plus the one time investment for the lights of $750. 


How do I know if I have the right outdoor Power and Voltage? 
You have to make sure you have the right outdoor power and voltage; Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI - in case it rains, the lights should automatically shut off according to a Licensed Electrician to avoid any electric issues. ) If the outdoor electric complies with some of those requirements, and is underneath a porch or some structure than can provide shelter, you may avoid some of this extra expense. If you do need an outdoor outlet, I would reffer you to the licensed electrician I work with. Depending on your home and it can start around $125 dlls.
